We have an NFC North doubleheader with massive playoff implications. The Ravens need a win to secure the playoffs and should cruise as a 19.5-point favorite against the Browns. The Bengals also need a victory to have a slim chance of making the playoffs. If they were to win, their fate would be decided on Sunday based on the results of the Broncos vs. Chiefs and Dolphins vs. Jets games.
The Bengals are playing excellent football, and our proprietary stats support their victory on Saturday. However, we're focusing on props in this contest because the Steelers still have plenty of talent.
Pittsburgh was just lit up through the air by Patrick Mahomes on Christmas Day. Although they've had an extended break, it shouldn't help them much on defense because Burrow has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
Burrow is fourth in Real Quarterback Rating, ninth in Real Passing Yards/Attempt, and third in Offensive Passer Rating. Pittsburgh has a legitimate defense, ranking eighth in Defensive Passer Rating, but we believe the Bengals' explosiveness will be too much in this spot.
We're going to take Mike Gesicki Over 29.5 Receiving Yards. He is a backup option to the Bengals stars, but his total is very low. He had 53 yards and five catches last game against the Steelers and is coming off 10 catches against the Broncos for 86 yards.
We also support taking Higgins and Chase to surpass their lines, but Gesicki could be a hidden gem based on his past games.
The Ravens should be able to prevail over the Browns. Cleveland has not done well, but Lamar Jackson has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league in 2024.
Jackson's over-1.5 TD pass percentage is -146, and he is second in touchdowns with 39. He has exceeded this line in five straight games, and Cleveland ranks 26th in Defensive Real Quarterback Rating.
