Serge Ibaka is one of the NBA's more athletic big men and he's never afraid to showcase his explosive ability. In Atlanta, he got the chance to do so in front of NBA great Dikembe Mutombo, and he made the most of the opportunity.
Ibaka hit 'em with the finger wag ... with Mutombo in attendance! pic.twitter.com/ygeG2kBuok— NBA on ESPN (@ESPNNBA) December 6, 2017
With Hawks center Alex Len driving to the hoop, Ibaka swatted aside his lay-in attempt and then went right into the patented Mutombo finger wag. In a brilliant piece of sports cinematography, the camera man behind the basket who had just captured the block then immediately panned to Mutombo, who happened to be sitting courtside for the action.
Yes, Mutombo approves of your winger wag, Serge Ibaka. And we all approve of your work, ESPN cameraman. Applause all around.
